Muay Thai is very famous sports that are enjoyed by almost every Thai people. You can get some boxing rings that are very popular. Some criteria should be maintained to have a good Muay Thai boxing ring. Muay Thai usually happens in a square shaped ring which is placed at 4 ft above the ground. The length of the ring should be between 19ft i.e. 5.70 meters and 27 ft i.e. 8.20 meters. Four ropes formed the ring. The ropes must not more than 24 ft i.e. 7.30 meters or less than 16ft i.e. 4.90 meters. Each of the ropes should not be less than three fourth inch i.e. 2 centimeters in diameter. These are supported at the four corners by posts. These ropes are covered by linen sponge or soft leather and that’s a rule. This is done to save the boxers from injury. These are placed tight at 1, 2, 2 and 4 ft above the floor of the ring. The heights are 3.30, 0.60, 0.90, and 1.20 meters respectively.
The floor space can be extended from the ring space by the measurement of 3 ft i.e. 90 centimeters. The space should be cushioned with very soft cloth or corkboards. This is done to at least 1 inch i.e. 2.50 cm. thickness. This is done to prevent injury. One restricted area is there which is extended towards the ring for 3 ft i.e. 90 cms. This is done on all sides especially for personnel judges, time keeper, doctor, and other officials. The stadium manager will look after the thing.
There are some equipment that are used in Muay Thai fight. These are usually provided by the stadium. These are a signal gong, boxing gloves of various sizes according to the rules, a stopwatch, a warning bell, and equipment to provide water for boxers. Some of the additional accessories are surgical tape, boxing shorts in red or blue, jock straps, or sacred cords.

Golf in Thailand
The introduction of Golf is Thailand is an old good story. 100 years ago during the reign of King Rama V golf was first introduced to Thailand. Previously golf was known as royal game and only the elite members of high society were entitled to take the pleasure of playing the game. Since then the scenario has changed a lot and now a days golf is extremely popular in Thailand. The reputation of the game has escalated a lot. Both local Thai people and visitors take equal interest in this game. There are some exciting golf courses present in Thailand. These attract lot of tourists from different parts.
Every year around four lakhs foreign gold players come to the city to enjoy the royalness of the game. This game in Thailand has become a huge local industry where new courses are regularly produced. Because of golf the country earns more than eight billion baht per year. Presently the prominence of this game has increased in such an amount that the other countries has given the name ‘The Golf Capital of Asia’ to Thailand. In all over Thailand more than two hundred golf courses are there to entertain the golfers. All these courses are of international standards. Some of the courses are created and also designed by famous persons such as Arnold Palmer, Seve Ballesteros, Nick Faldo, Jack Nicklaus, Greg Norman and Gary Player.
Many famous golfers of the country are originally from Thailand. Thongchai Jaidee is Thailand’s most successful golfers. He has already won many international tournaments. Some other Thai golfers who have won international awards are Boonchu Ruangjit and Prayad Marksaeng.
In Thailand you can play golf throughout the whole year. There are excellent drainage system so that in rainy season also i.e. from June to October, the players do not face any problem. In hot season i.e. in the month of March and April the time is best for playing it. At this time the players easily get suntan which is enviable to many persons. In cold season i.e. from November to February is regarded as the freshest time for the golf players.
